TRANSMISSION - Essai Music: cinema to listen to

An experiment carried out on the borderline between music and cinema: making use of the songs within films as if they were records, creating live radio programme, but with a screen added. Music and cinema thus mirror each other, generating an audiovisual collage constructed by pairing clips of films enlivened by famous-and-non songs, linked to each other in a narrative warp conceived and displayed by Alberto Campo,  music critic and former radio presenter, here in a novel guise as a MJ (Movie-Jockey). An unusual formula – an occasion all at the same time for cultural analysis, artistic divertissement and a convivial pretext – staged successfully during a cycle of Sunday meetings at the Magazzino on the Po river and offered once again in an even more appropriate context like “Seeyousound”. Organised by Aiace Turin.
