Cinema with your Baby presents A Stork’s Journey by Toby Genkel and Reza Memari.

Cinema with your Baby, the initiative by the National Cinema Museum and the Giovani Genitori monthly magazine which features a matinee screening a month dedicated to families with babies and tiny tots, is continuing at the Cinema Massimo.

 

The first film for 2018 is A Stork’s Journey by Toby Genkel and Reza Memari  (Germany/Belgium/ Norway 2016, 85’, DCP, col.). An orphan from birth and brought up by storks, sparrow Richard believes he is one of them. However, when the moment arrives for migrating, the stork family reveals his true identity to him and leaves him behind, because he could not survive the long journey towards Africa. Determined to demonstrate he is a real stork, though, Richard decides to face this effort of the journey South on his own.

 

The screening will take place with reduced volume levels and muted lighting. Booster seats, changing mats, bottle-warmers, nappies and pram-parking will be available for the public, in addition to the customary snack offered by the showcase sponsors. Accessible on wheels. Tickets will offer a reduction on admission to the Cinema Museum. Admission 4.50 euro. Admission free for children aged under 3 years.
