The Russian Film Festival is arriving at the Cinema Massimo, for the first time in Turin.

Cinema Massimo – From 30 September to 1 October – Screen Three

The Russian Film Festival will take place for the first time in the city of Turin, on 30 September and 1 October 2017. Four films will be offered, two for each evening. The films will be shown in original language with subtitles in Italian. Free admission until full capacity is reached.

The Russian Film Festival is developed within the Russian Cultural Mission in Italy, an initiative by the Russian Federation Foreign Affairs and Culture Ministries, as a privileged opportunity for insights into intercultural dialogue and the consolidation of bilateral relations between Italy and Russia.

The main Russian film companies are presenting their new productions, offering an opportunity for a significant overview on Russian culture through the lens of its contemporary cinematography. This showcase, which features the attendance of representatives for some of the films proposed, is a stimulating occasion for dealing concurrently with the object of the story and with the storyteller’s eye, offering the spectator a privileged viewing angle for accessing Russian culture. The programme will be communicated during the weeks prior to the initiative.
