Opening evening for LABORATORIO ITALIA NOVANTA with a special version of Mao’s Salon - Duel Soundtrack Contest and a screening of Tutti giù per terra by Davide Ferrario.

Cinema Massimo – 6 June 2016, 8.30/10.00 p.m. – Screen One

Inaugural evening at the Cinema Massimo for the LABORATORIO ITALIA NOVANTA. 1985/2005: frames, words and sounds from the third millennium underground showcase, programmed in Turin from June to November.

This showcase is based on a project by Domenico Mungo (a writer, Social History and Contemporary Literature professor and journalist), who proposes to reconstruct the social, cultural, political and musical History of Turin, which has been hard hit by the crisis on a historiographical, artistic, linguistic and anthropological level.

It starts at 8.30 p.m. with Il salotto di Italia Novanta: a Duel soundtrack contest: live soundtracks played by the winners of the latest editions of Pagella Non Solo Rock, with an excerpt of Tutti giù per terra (We all fall down), the film directed by Davide Ferrario about Turin being buffeted at the end of the millennium by the industrial crisis.

The Duel soundtrack is directed and conducted by Mauro Gurlino, who goes by the art sobriquet of MAO, and by Dr. Domenico Mungo. Screening of the entire film at 10.00 p.m. All info is on the “Laboratorio Italia Novanta” Facebook page. Single price ticket 5 euro.
