EATING BY VIEWING. FOOD IN CINEMA AND THE MEDIA, FROM THE FIFTIES TO THE PRESENT studies day.

Library/Mediatheque – 7 October 2015, from 9.30 p.m. – Events Room

The National Cinema Museum “Mario Gromo” Library/Mediatheque is hosting a studies day conceived and coordinated by Gabriele Rigola (Turin University), organised in collaboration with Turin University - DAMS, Turin City of Taste - Gambero Rosso and the National Cinema Museum. This studies day, dedicated to the relationship between food and the audiovisual media, takes its place within the broader context of meetings and reflections on nutrition, cuisine and gastronomy, implemented particularly for the occasion of the Expo.

The event is part of the 18th CinemAmbiente Festival days dedicated to the link between food, eco-sustainability and cinema, which will take place in Turin from 6 to 11 October 2015.

The studies day, which will feature several and varied contributions on this topic, will then continue, starting from 6.30/7.00 p.m., with a cinephile aperitif by Turin City of Taste - Gambero Rosso.
