Exceptional [IMPORT] features for October: Tales by Iranian Rakhshan Bani and The Postman's White Nights by Andrey Konchalovsky presented by its director.

Cinema Massimo –from 2 to 28 October 2015 - Screen Three

[Import] for October – the interesting monthly rendez-vous which is aiming to bring the very latest films which received great accolades at international festivals, but did not find any distribution in Italy, to the cinema – is offering two films which are great social frescoes, directed by masters of an imposing stature but which did not find any distribution in Italy. They are Rakhshan Bani-E'temad and her Tales, which collates the short films she made almost clandestinely during Ahmadinejad’s regime, and Belye nochi pochtalona Alekseya Tryapitsyna (The Postman's White Nights) by Andrey Konchalovsky, a true story filmed with non professional actors in a forsaken village in Russia. For this screening of his film, Andrey Konchalovsky will introduce it to the public at the cinema, and will be the protagonist of a meeting/debate after the screening. Admission 6.00/4.00/3.00 euro.
