Coming to the Cinema Massimo, Adieu au langage (Goodbye to language), the new enigmatic film by Jean-Luc Godard, is programmed there from 3 to 10 December both in a 3D and a 2D version in different theatres at the Cinema Massimo.
Godard’s thirty-ninth film, within a career which began over half a century ago, Adieu au langage is a provocative and obstinate declaration of intents on the relationship between reality and fiction and on what cinema has become today. And as the use of 3D (an absolute novelty on Godard’s filmmaking) demonstrates, the debate is still uninterrupted and dear to this director.
