Tonino De Bernardi presents Iolanda tra bimba and corsara. Tribute to Emilio Salgari for his 150th birth anniversary.

The National Cinema Museum presents the film Iolanda tra bimba and corsara (Iolanda between child and pirate) by Tonino De Bernardi, freely inspired by the novel Jolanda, la figlia del Corsaro Nero and the life of the author himself, on Friday 18 October 2013, at 8.30 p.m. on Screen Three at the Cinema Massimo. Meeting with the director following the screening. Admission 6.00/4.00/3.00 euro.

 

For the occasion of the one hundred and fiftieth anniversary of Emilio Salgari’s birth, Quarto Film and Fuori Orario have produced three feature-length films inspired by the writer, made respectively by Tonino De Bernardi, Giovanni Cioni and Giovanni Maderna with Mauro Santini.
