For AUTEUR SHORTS, double billing in May with British Free Cinema and with the Guernica documentary by Emir Kusturica.

Cinema Massimo – 15 May 2013, 8.30 p.m.

For its customary rendez-vous with CORTI D’AUTORE (AUTEUR SHORTS), the CNC- National Centre for Short Films – in collaboration with the National Cinema Museum – is presenting an evening featuring a double bill on Wednesday 15 May 2013, from 8.30 p.m., on Screen Three at the Cinema Massimo.

The first part is dedicated to British Free Cinema, which radically renewed cinematographic language as well as the themes involved, as a forerunner of the Nouvelle Vague revolution, thanks to authors like Karel Reisz, Tony Richardson and Lindsay Anderson. The second part, dedicated to short masterpieces, will instead present Guernica by Emir Kusturica. Admission: 3 euro.
