The Centro Nazionale del Cortometraggio (National Short Film Centre) presents “Corti d’autore|2” at Cinema Massimo
The Centro Nazionale del Cortometraggio (National Short Film Centre), promoted by AIACE Nazionale and the National Museum of Cinema, presents Corti d'autore|2 at Cinema Massimo, Screen 3. This monthly event highlights the best short films in the history of cinema, created by the most important film-makers of the past and present. During the evening, as part of our Kenneth Anger, the perverse image tribute, the short films Inauguration of the Pleasure Dome (USA 1954, 38'), Scorpio Rising (USA 1963, 28') and Invocation of My Demon Brother (USA, 1969, 11') will all be screened. As part of the Viva l'Italia series, L'arbitro (The Referee) by Paolo Zucca will also be screened (Italy 2008, 18'). The screenings will be introduced by Gianni Volpi, a film critic and historian.
