The Museo Nazionale del Cinema in Turin closes the year with more than 818,000 visitors to the Mole Antonelliana, confirming 2024 as its best year ever. This important result rewards both the Museum’s strategy and the national and international audiences who continue to choose it as one of Italy’s leading cultural destinations.

2024 has once again been an annus mirabilis for our Museum, with more than 818,000 visitors,” says Enzo Ghigo, President of the Museo Nazionale del Cinema. “This figure confirms the standing of our institution, whose prestige and value are widely recognised both nationally and internationally. We have achieved this through close cooperation with the local area and with public and private institutions. In 2025, we will consolidate and expand this network of relationships and partnerships, with the aim of becoming an increasingly open, accessible and engaging museum offering a cultural programme of the highest quality.

The record figures for 2024 are a source of great satisfaction, while also encouraging us to continue the process of renewal aimed at strengthening the Museo Nazionale del Cinema’s position as a centre of excellence within the Italian and international cultural landscape,” says Carlo Chatrian, Director of the Museo Nazionale del Cinema. “With the current exhibitions Movie Icons and Serialmania, and the forthcoming solo exhibition devoted to James Cameron, 2025 promises to be another exceptional year, rich in content and featuring distinguished guests of the highest calibre.
