The “Mole” as you’ve never seen it before.

A photographic exhibition explains the design approach and the setting-up in restoring the dome of the Mole Antonelliana building and the installation of the light display, the Three-coloured Jewel, marking the 150th Anniversary of the Unification of Italy.

The City of Turin, Comitato Italia 150 and the National Cinema Museum present a selection of spectacular photographs which offer visitors a new perspective on the symbol of the city of Turin.
It took a year of work, involving cast iron and ropes, dizzying heights and climbings and, above all, it took people who had the courage to stay up there, poised at 100 metres, to return the Mole Antonelliana to its original splendour.

During the exhibition, the Cabiria Cafè's outdoor sitting area was opened, accessed from Via Montebello.

This initiative is part of the 'Architettura in città' Festival programme (Festival “Architettura in città”), organised by the Order and Turin's Fondazione Ordine Architetti.
