Italian Short Film Center

The Italian Short Film Centre, the only film library dedicated to short film, is a project by AIACE Nazionale and it is carried out jointly with the National Museum of Cinema. Its mission is to preserve and promote Italian short films:  the Italian Short Film Centre has overseen the digitalization and restoration of over 100 films, it promotes the circulation of Italian short films and it curates the monthly festival "Corti d'autore” at the Cinema Massimo. It publishes books on Italian and international short films.  It is the showcase for Italian shorts in the most important international short film festival, the Festival International du Court-métrage in Clermont-Ferrand.

Since 2016 the CNC has been organizing  the Torino Short Film Market during the Torino Film Festival: an area for investment, creations and discoveries by young authors and an observatory on a national and international audiovisual creativity; the TSFM was conceived as a platform whose aim is the dialogue between movie works, new media and new formats in order to provide the opportunity for top level professional meetings.
